Back for its second year, the Hilton Head Spouses Retreat offers a peaceful coastal escape designed exclusively for spouses of Purple Heart recipients. This retreat provides an opportunity to step away from the demands of caregiving, recharge, and connect with others who understand the unique journey of supporting a combat-wounded veteran.

Planning is in the works, but activities MAY include peaceful beach walks, horseback riding, candle-making, a cooking class, a Tiki cocktail mixology class, a visit to the Coastal Discovery Museum, learning the game of pickleball, and enjoying the festive coastal charm of Hilton Head during the holiday season. With plenty of time for relaxation, meaningful conversation, and beautiful Lowcountry scenery, this retreat is designed to leave spouses feeling refreshed, encouraged, and supported before returning home.

Our Spouse Retreats are positive, uplifting, and energizing, designed to give you the support you need to return home ready to be the best caregiver you can be! You must be the spouse of a Purple Heart recipient and provide verification if the Purple Heart recipient has not previously registered with the Warrior Bonfire to be eligible to attend. The Purple Heart recipient is not required to participate for the spouse to participate.

This event is open to 4 Purple Heart Spouses – Priority is given to those who have not traveled in the past with WBP.

Lodging (not ADA), travel, food, and activities are at no expense to the attending spouse. Event dates include travel days – Detailed Activities will be provided closer to time.
