Get ready to hit the mountain for a winter adventure in beautiful Park City, Utah! In partnership with the National Ability Center, this retreat gives Purple Heart recipients the opportunity to experience the mountain through skiing, snowboarding, and ski biking in one of the country’s premier winter destinations.
Whether you are an experienced skier or snowboarder, returning to the mountain after an injury, or ready to try something completely new, the National Ability Center’s experienced instructors and adaptive recreation specialists will help meet you where you are. With adaptive equipment, facilities, and individualized support available, the focus isn’t on what you can’t do—it’s on discovering what you can do!
Days will be spent on the mountain learning new skills, building confidence, and challenging yourself alongside fellow Purple Heart recipients. Ski biking adds another way to experience the slopes and may be a great option for those looking for a different kind of winter adventure.
