Our Purple Heart recipients recently experienced an unforgettable retreat in New York City and the Jersey Shores, packed with history, camaraderie, and fun! The journey began with a powerful visit to the 9/11 Museum, where emotions ran deep as we honored lives lost and reflected on shared sacrifices. We explored the USS Intrepid, took in the iconic Statue of Liberty from the ferry, and immersed ourselves in the vibrant energy of Times Square.

The retreat also brought us to the Jersey Shore, where relaxation and excitement were on the menu. From beach days and arcade games to go-karting and mini-golf, the group found joy in every moment. And, of course, we indulged in classic New York pizza, bagels, and Jersey Shore boardwalk treats, savoring the tastes of the region.

These shared experiences continue to forge lasting bonds, reminding us of the healing power of connection and adventure. Thank you to everyone who made this retreat possible!
