Purple Heart Patriots
A place to be with those that were there and understand.
A place to say what you need to say.
A place to be active in the great outdoors.
""Take that first step, open the door, and step outside the box. There are others in your shoes who have been there and done that. You will take something away from this kind of event, I promise." "
-Stephen Blair, Purple Heart
Step 1 - Register
Bonfire Adventure Retreats are 3 to 7 day-long retreats, designed primarily for 6 Post 9/11 Purple Heart Recipients. Anyone wanting to attend a Bonfire event will need to register and provide proof of Purple Heart award via a DD214 or orders if still active duty. Trips are at no cost to the Veteran for lodging, meals, travel, and activities. Alumni members are allowed to attend multiple events, however, priority is given to waitlisted members.
RegistrationStep 2 - Pick A Retreat
Once an application is submitted you are free to browse travel options and request a reservation for an event. A team member will get back with you as soon as possible with travel space and status. If a retreat is full your request will be placed on that particular events' waitlist and you will be contacted in the case of a cancellation.
