Lobster fishing in Maine!

This new Warrior Bonfire Program retreat, built and hosted by a Purple Heart alumnus, brings participants to the coast of Maine for a unique blend of hands-on adventure and connection. The experience includes a 3-hour lobster fishing expedition where participants can be as involved as they choose, enjoying their catch together and even taking some home. The group will also visit the Cole Land Transportation Museum, including the Purple Heart monument and curated military exhibits, followed by an evening of local fishing and fellowship with area veterans serving as guides. Participants will also take part in an equine-assisted session at Reigning Hope Ranch, offering a meaningful opportunity for reflection and connection. Time will be spent exploring Acadia National Park, including Bar Harbor, Cadillac Mountain, Sand Beach, and Thunder Hole—creating a retreat that blends coastal beauty, shared experience, and lasting camaraderie.

Request to Attend this Bonfire Retreat

When registering for a trip please keep in mind that airfare is extremely expensive and, if chosen for this Bonfire trip, we ask that you do everything in your power to attend the event. Last minute cancellations are not refundable and credits must be used within the year. Wasted funds hurt the entire program. This may impact your ability to fly for future Bonfire events. Thank you.
