Experience the best of North Georgia with this classic outdoor retreat in Lula, Georgia. The weekend includes two days of spring turkey hunting and one day of trout fishing on both private and public waters.

Turkey hunting takes place on the private property of our host and sponsor, Chapman Fence Company, while trout fishing is guided on scenic local streams. No prior hunting or fishing experience is required—experienced guides will provide instruction, support, and ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for all skill levels.

Participants will also tour historic Camp Toccoa, home of the 101st Airborne Division and the original Band of Brothers, offering a meaningful connection to military history.

Lodging is at a barndominium that delivers an authentic hunting-camp experience, complete with outstanding home-cooked meals and time to unwind and connect with fellow Purple Heart recipients.

Lodging, travel, and food are at no expense to the warrior. 

This event is for Warrior Bonfire Alumni Only and is limited to 5 Purple Hearts. 

Event dates include travel days – Driving is encouraged but not required.
