The Couples on the Coast Retreat is designed to strengthen relationships through connection, shared experiences, and time away from everyday demands. This retreat offers couples the opportunity to deepen awareness of their relationship while enjoying time together, learning practical communication tools, and connecting with other couples who understand the unique challenges that can accompany combat-related wounds.

Activities are still in planning but may include a pontoon boat dolphin tour, Segway eco-tour, beach fishing, visits to the Naval Museum, and a tour of Fort Morgan. Between activities, couples can expect plenty of time for rest and relaxation, unstructured beach time, beautiful sunsets, and meaningful conversations.

This retreat creates space to reconnect, recharge, and build new friendships in a supportive coastal setting alongside other Purple Heart couples walking a similar path.

All couples will stay in a beach house, each with a private bedroom but shared bathrooms. 

This event is open to 4 Purple Heart Married Couples and must be Alumni Members of the Warrior Bonfire Program due to the sensitive nature of the Bonfire Ceremony – Priority is given to those couples that have not attended a couples retreat with the WBP.

Lodging, travel, food, and activities are at no expense to the couples.

Event dates include travel days.

Prior to travel, a survey will be provided that must be completed in order to attend.
