Intensity Level – High

In partnership with Diving With Heroes, this new Warrior Bonfire Program retreat offers Purple Heart recipients the opportunity to experience the crystal-clear freshwater Florida springs through the adventure of scuba diving. Whether you’re an experienced diver or looking to expand your skills, this retreat combines underwater exploration with the camaraderie that defines the Warrior Bonfire experience.

Participants will dive some of Florida’s renowned spring systems under the guidance of experienced dive professionals while enjoying time to relax, connect, and share experiences with fellow Purple Heart recipients. Surrounded by the natural beauty of central Florida, this retreat provides a unique opportunity to challenge yourself, discover a new perspective beneath the surface, and build lasting friendships through shared adventure.

Hernando Beach Diving with Heroes 

Open Water Certification Card or Valid Number must be provided to be confirmed to travel on this event. A refresher course is required if the participant has not dived within the last 18 months. (May 4, 2025 – November 4, 2026) 

Personal diving equipment is welcome but not required. Wetsuit optional – provide your own if desired.

This event is open to 6 Purple Heart Members of the Warrior Bonfire Program. Priority is given to those who have not traveled with the Warrior Bonfire Program.

Lodging, travel, food, and activities are at no expense to the warrior. Equipment included / personal gear is welcome.

Event dates include travel days.
