Battle Lake is named for the 18th-century battle between the Ojibwe and Sioux Indians, and it is a beautiful place for you and 5 other Purple Heart recipients to fight together to win your inner battles as well! This historical location provides the activities of horseback riding, fishing, swimming, and a visit to the headwaters of the Mississippi River at Itasca State Park. Yes, this is your chance to step over the Mighty Mississippi! Fish in this location are walleye, northern pike, and bass.

This event is open to 6 Purple Hearts – Lodging, travel, food, and activities are at no expense to the warrior – Event dates include travel days – Request to Attend Below
